What a fabulous bunch of people for our first outing with Galeforce 8 Yacht Charter.
It rained all morning but miraculously stopped during the time when the crew was having their bacon rolls, pastries, freshly brewed coffee, tea, and orange juice. This was a great opportunity for them to have a chat and get to know each other and by the time they were ready to set off on their adventure, they were all equally excited about what they were about to embark on.
On their return, they were 'buzzing' and regaled us with their stories of their days sailing adventure, over prosecco, beer, and canapes. They all exchanged numbers, formed a WhatsApp group, and agreed that they would do it again.
This is the aim of Select Events - to make friends and new networks. As we get older our friendship groups dwindle and friends that are in a relationship don't necessarily 'get' what it's like to be single in a world where people mainly meet on social media.
