Further to a blog, I sent out on 28th March asking single men over 50 why they are so reticent to go to singles events.
Well, I am happy to say that I have been proved WRONG - the men easily outweighed the ladies applications for the spaces we had available on this weekend's Select Events/Galeforce 8 sailing events - so, I take it all back and apologise profusely.
It seems that since the easing of lockdown men are now more comfortable to socialise and date, whereas ladies were happy to date virtually and go for one-to-one walks.
Great news for all concerned :-)
